Lily Z. Winsaft is considered a rising star among women, executives, and the Hispanic community in Atlanta. As CEO and Founder of Aldebaran Associates, she has focused her 25 years of experience in leadership, recruiting, business, and finance to build a company dedicated to addressing the hiring and training challenges facing corporations and professionals in the 21st Century. In this role she regularly provides highly selective recruiting services for fortune 500 companies in the advertising, marketing, legal, accounting, information technology and non-profit sectors. Given her notoriety in the Hispanic community and among international organizations, her firm plays a major role in boosting organizational diversity and in the placement of candidates at companies transacting business in Latin America or selling products and services to the U.S. Hispanic consumer segment.
Lily is a tireless community advocate and leader. She launched and recently completed a 2-year term as President of the Atlanta Chapter of the National Latina Business Woman Association--- a nonprofit organization dedicated to the business and professional development of Latinas through education and mentoring opportunities. One of the newest members of Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM)’s Atlanta Chapter Board of Directors, she regularly speaks at their conferences and other events. She chaired the “Compañeros Giving” campaign at the Latin American Association and serves on the National Multicultural Board of the Women’s Leadership Exchange. Lily is an active member of the Advisory Board of Georgia State University Women’s Leadership Forum, Prowomen.org – dedicated to supporting professionals facing harassment in the workplace and the Mexican American Chamber of Commerce, where she volunteers her time by facilitating professional seminars. She is an advisor/mentor for programs with the International MBA Business Program at Georgia State University, and the MBA International Program at American Intercontinental University, where she has been an active Board Advisor for over three years.
In October 2008 Lily received the Hispanic Achievement & Business Leadership Award for Entrepreneurship followed by an Influential Women Club award November 2008. Lily also received the "Business Woman of the year" award by The Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce -- one of the most powerful and influential Hispanic organizations in Atlanta. In 2008, she was nominated for a Leadership Character Award from the Turknett Leadership Group and Aldebaran Associates was nominated for a Small Business of the Year Award by the Mexican American Business Chamber. In addition, Lily has been recognized by the Latin American Association for her fundraising and volunteer efforts, and in early 2008 was invited by CARE International to join a special mission trip, sponsored by Delta, to Guatemala due to her support of international micro finance and women empowerment efforts.
