Happy Weekend!
The pollen situation has improved, we're on track for the beautiful weather that we deserve, and I'm ecstatic to report that companies are definitely hiring again!
Several of our corporate clients as well as companies that are not yet our clients have ramped up hiring for the 2nd and 3rd quarter in a row. Some of these companies have upwards of 100 job openings! We are seeing positions in finance, marketing and sales increase in numbers. We think companies are starting to feel the crunch from the many months of non-hiring and the impact this has had on their growth. But global demand for goods and services continues to grow and so our international niche is expanding!
We realize there is still some consolidating going on and there are those who are still being displaced. Happy People Get Jobs

How is your energy impacting your job search? How do you fundamentally view yourself as it relates to the energy you are carrying and how you express it? Do you recognize yourself in the full scope of your energetic being-ness? Are you conscious of the dimensions that constitute the totality of it as it relates to your presence and the nuances of your interactions with others? When you enter, engage and exit the terrain and relationships of your professional life such as business contacts or interviewing for a position did you know that you leave your "Energy Signature" wherever you've been? People remember it. It is your calling card. It is an important key in making things happen in your professional life.
Happiness is...interviewing a happy person. Can't tell you how many times attitude plays the determining factor in whether or not you move on to the next step of the hiring process. All emotions, all attitudes are energetic. Energy vibrates and produce a particular state of being. The quality of that state of being determines how you show up in the world. No one's going to hire a depressed person. Think about the people in your life that zap your energy. Think about the ones that give you energy. Who would you want to hire? So how do you keep a great attitude and an uplifting demeanor when it's your 4th month of unemployment, you're worried that your savings are decreasing and worse, your spouse doesn't think you are doing enough?
Maintaining a great attitude throughout your job search is critical to your success. But it does bring to mind a "chicken and egg" scenario. What comes first, the job or the happiness? Many of us may think that once we land that great job things will finally fall into place and we will be happy again. The reality is that no job will bring you happiness unless you already are intrinsically happy. Besides facing our challenges the purpose of life is to experience joy. You experience joy by choosing it. Period. True joy is a state of simplicity inherently and naturally within us. Circumstances can never bring you joy because all circumstances are temporary. Eventually you will move on from that great job, your dream car will break down, you'll fall out of love with your mate...etc. That's why the only way to achieve pure joy is to simply choose it every day. Now I know what you're thinking, "that sounds great and it's really easy to say but very hard to do." You're right that it can be hard to do but that's only because we have been raised in a world that reinforces the conditionality of our own mind teaching us that "I will be happy when..."
So we pursue the knight in shining armor, the prestigious career, the expensive sports car. In the end, nothing can truly make us happy;and we need to stop making the world responsible for our happiness. It's time to consider instead, "Since I am happy I will finally..." and then choose the joy, the circumstances you seek will follow.
Here are 7 things that will elevate your mood, conserve your energy and create a state of joy regardless of what your circumstances are:
1)Take care of your physical well being. Make sure you eat wholesome, organic and fresh foods as much as possible, avoid packaged and fast foods at all cost; 2)rest plenty and exercise. Even 15 minutes a day of walking makes a huge difference! 3)Practice meditation (we call it medication for the soul) or yoga. Give yourself moments of silence and reflection daily. 4)Create affirmations that express the positive thoughts and feelings that will drive you happy. Repeat them daily as mantras. 5)Avoid negative people; seek to surround yourself with those that are positive and energized Remind yourself daily of all the wonderful things in your life that you are grateful for; appreciate all the gifts that have been bestowed upon you. 6)Play. Listen to music. Dance. Move your body in rhythm with the earth's vibrations. 7)Stay in the moment. Resolve the past and don't worry about the future. Stay connected to the present. Live it, feel it, breathe it and appreciate it.
As you move through your career path, whether you're in transition or seeking your next promotion, choose to be one of those that gives energy. Choose to be a generator of happiness. Choose to be someone that others seek out because of your "Energy Signature."
